A day in the Abbey:

The waking up: Forget the clock! It is the sun rays showing up through the venetian blinds, or the happy song of the birds that will sweetly invite you to open your eyes. A new splendid day has just started!

The breakfast: …for the laziest ones, it will be served in the room, for the most traditional ones it will be served in the breakfast room, for the most romantic ones it will be served in the cloister: it is our healthy and energetic breakfast. We will please every palate: yogurt and fresh fruit to stay healthy, croissant and cappuccino for the greedy ones, torts and cakes for the nostalgic ones, cheeses and salami for the sport ones.
Morning: once you have gathered all the energies you are ready for a beautiful and suggestive walk at the discovery of Umbriano, a small abandoned village from which there is a beautiful view over all the Abbey. We give you the detailed map of the walk… you supply the legs!

Relax: …nicely laying on a long chair in the panoramic garden of the Abbey, maybe drinking a fresh drink…

Lunch: something light and fresh, maybe served directly on the grass of the Abbey, and accompanied by a glass of precious “nectar of the gods”.
Afternoon: under the arches of the antique refectory, it is nice to listen to the notes of Vivaldi, Mozart or Bach discovering again the pleasure of a game of chess or draughts or to read a nice book in the cloister. The lost lonely ones will chose the suggestive loggia, close their eyes and everything around will seem to remember the murmurs or the slow paths of the monks immerged in the meditation.

Late afternoon: …a herbal tea is the best drink to prepare our body for the sauna that will give us even more energy.
Dinner: let us get spoiled by the greedy proposals of the Restaurant “Il Cantico”. Dishes prepared with fresh products and traditional recipes accompanied by a wide range of excellent local and national wines.

Evening: …the fireflies are waiting for accompanying us in a suggestive night walk under the starry sky or, as an alternative one can finish drinking our glass of brandy playing billiard in the Capitolare Room.
