HORA MEDIA restaurant, its name recalls the Benedictine origins of the wonderful abbey of San Pietro in Valle, where the restaurant is. This a timeless place where you can enjoy your own time, mainly the one spent for good food and conviviality.
Our dishes are prepared with local season products, and every delicacy our land can offer you!

Here are some examples of our specialties:

  • polenta di roveja (typical wild peas of Valnerina )
  • gnocchetti di pane al pesto di pistacchi (bread dunplings with pistachio sauce)
  • farrotto con friggitelli e corona di fonduta di caciotta allo zafferano di Cascia (a spelt soup with cheese fondue and saffron)
  • agnello in salsa dorata (roasted lamb with sauce)
  • dolce ai semi di papavero con crema al limone (cake with poppy seeds and lemon cream)

HORA MEDIA organizes mediavela banquets with shows performer by actors and musicians who involve guests in their multisensory performance!!!
The restaurant is ideal for every ceremony.

Open at dinner (closed on Tuesday) on Sunday also for lunch (from April to the first week in November)

breakfast

Our breakfast buffet will be served in the “refectory”.
Along with the traditional kindness and courtesy, the buffet will include: a rich variety of Umbrian salami & cheese, yogurt, home made marmelade, fruit juices, brioches, fresh seasonal fruit, Grandma' cakes....and more. All products are genuine and accurately selected.

reading room and billiard room

Cosy and elegant halls to enjoy reading and other restfull activities, for all day times and for Our Guests' best relaxation.
In the reading room it would be possible to arrange small meeting events and business briefings.

The ancient “sala del Capitolo” is nowadays provided with a billiard.

the panoramic garden

Surely the most fascinating part of the Monastery, where the sight can expand to break all boundaries, over the Valnerina valley, and break trhough its fabulous landscapes to reach on to the medieval abandoned village of Umbriano.
A thousand and six hundred square metres large private garden, provided with outern facilities, where Our guests can indulge with a good glass of wine or simply stand in complete relax and harmony with nature and the sound surround.
